None of those are really cures or will help. The best thing I found for hangovers is to drink lots of water and go for a 1 to 3 hour mountain hike and then drink lots more water. Eating things like oranges, bananas, and kimbap helps too. There just isn't much of an escape, but getting up early the next morning to drink water and get active helps a great deal.

bah. Any convenience store has hangover cures near the Bacchus and fungus drinks, which kinda help too.
Rehydration is key. Water, sure. But gotta replenish those electrolytes, too. Powerade or Gatorade.

Agreed. A few (like 10 Wink ) beers followed by a big meal, and I'm straight.

There is no cure for a hangover. You can mitigate its effects with water, aspirin and sleep, but once you have one, you have one. Your efforts are better served in PREVENTING the hangover.

Steps to kill the hangover:

1. Get up early. Drink heaps of water. A few headache tablets just for good measure.

2. Do a proper fry-up breakfast. Whatever you can get your hands on. Eggs, butter, toast, sausages from Lotte Mart, whatever. And lots of coffee.

3. After consuming, go back to bed. After all the coffee, it might seem a bit strange, but you WILL go back to sleep.

4. Arise around 11-12. Carry on as normal. Drink more water/coffee when the need sets in.

This is all predicated upon your hangover falling on a Sunday. During the week, you're on your own.

i find there are side-effects that have to be dealt with-banging into door frames, fridges, etc.

diet wise,I try to avoid anything acidic and I try to avoid too much protein.

Vinegar is good to flush stuff tru my system and a quick iron intake seems to wake me up a bit.

5 litres of water doesn't hurt...merely displaces 5 litres of gas Embarassed

Hair of the dog though,my body settles down.

It's all about staying hydrated. If I'm out for beers, I'll drink half a glass of water between beers or a full glass after 2 beers. Sure you need to hit the pisser 1 or 2 extra times throughout the evening, but it's SO worth it. Trust me, give it a try.

If it is a REALLY bad hangover, then a little "hair of the dog" is the way to go. A good, stiff G&T followed by a nap will set your straight.
