I think the science is a bit fuzzy on this one, but the data is interesting.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

I thought I'll have a quick read and see what's going on here. Then I saw her! What a bad bad example. Nigella "make sure you rub the courgette like this before cooking" Lawson is not a good advert for curvy women and brains. It says she 'graduated' from Oxford with what? A D?

As much as I hate to say it Carol Voderman was always in this position. Engineering degree from Cambridge (Third, mind) and an IQ of 154. I would love to think there's a trend with this. But alas I'll still keep searching for my curvy bride, so much more attractive than the skinny ones.

Agreed. I find curvy girls so much sexier than skinny ones.

I think Nigella Lawson is yummers. But they could have found a better image for her. There she looks like she's on her way to Britney Spears-ville

I picked up a girl at a bonfire this weekend with the following...

"You're thick like a milkshake, and I love milkshakes."

Now, I meant this as a compliment, and as a fattie I cannot be a fattist without feeling wildly hypocritical. This girl could be an exception to the big girls are smart line, as she thought I was referencing that god awful song. She liked that I was referencing that song though. Alas, making out was all the farther that was going to go, but what else do you do at a party?

I say hurray for big girls. If I can find a big girl who is intelligent and finds things like Mr. Show, KitH, and the Office as hilarious as I do I will marry her in a heartbeat.

Medieval and Modern Languages.

Nigella is a goddess. She can put the kettle on and make me a nice cuppa any day! Laughing

No matter how much you praise voluptuous women with their sexy curves; as soon as they take their clothes off they all suddenly transform into what can only be described as fat bitches.

What's more comfortable, a beanbag or a hardwood stool? Some people like a little chunk with the funk.

I like all kinds of furniture though.

These days 'curvy' has become a polite euphemism for chubby.

I generally like curvy women, but I don't go out of my way to seek them out.... Women can be attractive in different ways..

Yes, of course. I was generalising when I made that post. There're so many things that can make a girl sexy aside from how slim or curvy she is. A particular look, a unique smile, her fashion sense, the way she talks etc.

There are degrees of curvy. If you look at the survey, it's about the waist-hip ratio, not the weight. Simply portly, heavy or stout wouldn't cut it.

Why don't they just concentrate on Lawson's food?

Never heard a word about Jamie Oliver/Graeme Henry etc's sexual attractiveness or lack thereof. Female TV chefs are all either mumsy or sexy. Doesn't help that Nigella promotes her shtick as "domestic goddess"... though she may not have had much to do with that. Pictures of her licking an ice-cream? Give me a break. When's Jamie Oliver going to do a photo spread posing seductively with a cantaloupe?
