Well, since there are 3 posts ahead of yours from people who seem interested, I'd say you are not the only tennis fan.
I'd be interested in going as well, but it would be so much better if it was an actual tournament.
Sorry, no knowledge on tickets. |

Would you go? I would if this was a real tournament. But cmon. Federer, the way he is playing now, is the best there ever has been in this sport. Sampras even at his beast neevr reached this level of domination but he's retired now. So either it is going to be a complete slaughter by Federer, or Federer is going to take it easy and let Sampras hang with him. Either way its not worth it because you are either going to see a 6-0, 6-0 victory by Federer OR he is going to treat it like training. |

While it would be nice to see a real tournament, I can't see the harm in going to see a couple living legends play the sport they're known for. I was moreso into tennis back during the Sampras/Agassi rivalry, so it'll be nice to see Sampras playing. Unless the tickets are super expensive, I'll be going. |

As soon as someone figures out how to get tickets.... please post on here, or pm me.
I agree Federer will slaughter him, and probably won't be giving it his all. But it's still Federer, he is the best. If Tiger Woods was in town hitting golf balls at a driving range I would pay to watch him. |

Sure it's an exhibition, but it's still a treat to see two of the all-time greatest players share the court. I felt the same way about the USA vs. Korea basketball game last year, and had a blast. |

It's an exhibition... 6-0 6-0 isn't going to happen. Some exhibition events are fixed, others aren't. Either way, at the end of the day the players are paid to entertain, so a complete drubbing won't be tolerated.
I've seen both these players in real tournaments, but I'd still love to go see this. I didn't get my tennis fix this summer, as I was saving to come over to Korea. |

I called the place and they told me there would be 2 levels of seating - estimated at W120,000 and W80,000. Apparently tickets will go on sale in October.
Even though this is an exhibition. I'm still very excited. |

6.0 - 6.0?? come on!!
its sampras!! not some non ranked player!
its pete sampras for god sake! the guy is an awesome player
and if sampras gave it his all, and so did federer I think it would be a close game! and one of the best to see! sampras might be mid 30's
but that doesnt mean he has forgotten to serve those aces and smash the ball!! |
