Many moons ago, back in the late 90s, I met a Korean lass who claimed to be an expert in many martial arts, and had been working as a bodyguard to the rich Apkujeong types before the economic crash.

As it was the 90s, and the hip fashion accessory for all young men was to have an Asian girlfriend, at the time I was thinking "Hot!" but now I'm wondering... is it a good idea to get into a relationship with someone would could conceivably cripple you for life during an argument over what part of Jeju to go visit?

So guys, would you go out with a lethal martial arts momma?

I know you posted a silly question but any guy incapable of taking down a 60 kg korean lass regardless of how many hapkido throws or tkd punches she knows is a pencil necked *beep* who probably deserves a good biatch slapping.

So, you feel confident you could beat up any woman you wanted to?

I said take down, which, in a self defense capacity is pretty far removed from beating up.

Nah I can't be with a chick who can kick my ass.

Due to this policy, I'm one lonely orc... =(

I have a sister probably just over 60kg who I trained for several years in TKD and is still with it. I promise you she could destroy well over half the guys I know.

P.S.
I'm the one who voted leathal lovin. I think martial arts is hot. However, I'm a martial artist myself so it might be different if I thought the girl could beat me up.

P.P.S
For example, if a girl plays basketball I think of it as a plus. However, if she's better than I am that makes it a neutral, maybe even a minus.

Your choice. I wasn't exaggerating hardly at all though. A couple things you might want to know:

The sister that I didn't mention broke the instructors ribs during the escape drill at her last black belt test. The one I'm talking about is way stronger. Easily stronger than the average guy her size. They're also FAST.

Rushing is a great tactic on people learning martial arts, but terrible if they really know their stuff. If you rush head up you will most likely get your teeth moved to the back of your mouth. If you rush head down you will either be thrown or sidestepped and maimed depending how low you get.

If you're fast and have a good size advantage, say 40 pounds, your best bet would be to do a lot of feinting so you can get close without getting your face smashed in. If you can do that you have a good chance just b/c weight is everything in wrestling.

If you're really big you might be able to rush head down because you can't be thrown. You'll still end up with compression fractures in your neck from getting kicked in the head, but if you can shake that off you'll be able to overwhelm with shear size.

Most people the same size wouldn't have a chance.

True, i don't know where you are from but where i come from you don't see that many fully grown men clocking in at the big 60 kg's.

I dunno, I like girls to be girls. Wearing dresses, makeup, can't kick my a.s.s. , that sort of thing. That's one of the great things about asian girls, they look and act like girls. Western girls are getting more and more androgenous.

F or myself, I would reflect on character and discipline. If she was someone that was able to control herself and wasn't a violent person, then I would have no problem going out with her.

If she is a violent and destructive person, then forget it.

-I like girls who is girly. More power to you if you wear pink and have unicorns in this day and age. It means you aren't takien in by all this neo-lib stuff. As for getting your ass kicked by a girl...I've almost had it done to me...and I'm 6'4. Rushing a martial artist...are you high? Why do people have knees?
