All you need to play is one of these, or something similar, which I'm sure most of you do.
Ingredients
3 or 4 Potatoes
1 Green Pepper
1 Red Pepper
1 Onion
4 Large Mushrooms
2 Large Korean Sausages
1 Tablespoon of Paprika
Seasoning to taste
Method
1. Boil potatoes until soft.
2. Drain and leave in fridge to chill (ideally, overnight).
3. Chop potatoes into small cubes and add to frying pan.
4. Fry gentle on a low heat for 5-minutes.
5. Dice peppers, onion, mushrooms and sausages into similar sized cubes.
6. Add vegetables and sausages.
7. Add paprika and seasoning.
8. Mix ingredients throughly.
9. Fry for an additional 5-minutes or until potatoes turn golden and crispy.
10. Serve
To complete, serve with a bottle of 2006 Ken Forrester Handmade Chenin Blanc (5.99) a top value tropical fruity glugger. Divine as an aperitif or with mild Asian cooking.
Enjoy. |

An ex of mine used to make a nearly identical dish, but dumped a can of mushroom soup over top and baked it. Good stuff! |

^whoa!
I hadn't considered the soup option. It'd be a bit runny though, no?
*EDIT*
Ahh ... and then baked it.
Sounds good, but that doesn't qualify for Twin Ring certification. Ovens are indeed a luxury out here. About 400,000 a pop on average - I'm thinking of investing in one in the NY.
Do they have January sales out here?

Not really--Campbell's condensed mushroom soup with no water added is about the consistency of gravy, and then when baked it gets to be like a very thick sauce. |
