Before going to all that effort, have you tried black market sotres that sell stuff off U S Bases here? Even if they dont have 'em, ask...they probably take orders.

I've done it for friends. I've had the folks put a couple in with the rest of my care packages.

My buddy shipped a carton today. At the post office in the States they told him that Korea has a ban on tobacco products at customs.

He sent it anyways. I'll post if they arrive successfully.

I get cigars shipped here on a regular basis and have never had
a problem. But, use the postal service. Couriered packages seem
to receive extra scrutiny. One time a couriered box of cigars was
stopped. I had to pay school tax and duty, that was all.

Most small packages are quickly sniffed by a dog or automated
sensor for drugs or other more serious contraband, thats all.

Quit now. Later in life, you will definitely regret it.

There's always some non-smoker to comment about how bad smoking is.

I'm moving to Korea to get away from that. Maybe I'll go to China instead, they love smoking there, right?

Uh, sorry to be so harsh, but the only place to move where no one downs smoking is the grave. Females who don't know you may take offense if you're lighting up in front of stores and public places by making a coughing gesture and saying they are dying, because of you.

In Korea, almost every male smokes, but females do down them for it, while tolerating their smoke since the men are the breadwinners. A women will sit at a smoky samgyeosal place and only drink water and eat raw sea squirts, while the men smoke thier lungs and eat on the pile of pork cooking thier faces. The woman has to endure all this pollution without saying a word or complaining.

Korea is a smokers paradise, Korea is a real smoking and drinking kind of country, even the bus drivers smoke with the kids, but I would not advise teachers to do the same as you are one of their role models.

I don't know, with the world population crisis and all, the more people smoking the better. Only import them if they are extra strong, work for 30 years, contribute to my pension and then die. Win-win baby..

You are correct. We like to think of brainwashing as something in dictatorships but Westerners are brainwashed. It may be a "good" sort but it's brainwashing nonetheless. I've seen comments about prison and even execution for smokers. Bit silly. My cigs do a lot less harm than , for one example, vehicle exhaust. The fact tehy can't leave a little thread like this alone really says something.

Anyway to the OP no I didn't. I adjusted quickly to Dunhill and even Time cigs. When I finally got a pack from home a friend brought I found them too strong.
