Don't sign anything, especially if you don't know what it says. Immigration speaks English. They should be the ones concerned with your history, not some "council."

wife's school got it yesterday, not mine so far

that sounds like that dam degree verification we all went through 2 years ago. that was a thing of beauty Rolling Eyes

i know even worse for gepik people. what is wrong with these people?

Wow, are they actually going to pick up the phone and call the universities? why would they need consent to do that?

I think we're all a little tired of being "criminalised" over here Rolling Eyes and their whole unrelenting racist hypocritical attitude to foreigners. Its gotten worse these past 2 years as well thanks to their daft TV documentaries.
Time we all started looking to other countries to teach I think.

No, but I did get a packet with an offer for some kind of insurance for professors, but it's all in Korean and it looks like it has three bills attached as if I owe them money. I'll look more into it later with a clear translation, but if anyone knows what it's all about....

alms bowl, during the protests in sept they turned their alms bowl down to refuse donations from people associated with the junta. its like being excommunicated in the catholic church

Yeah, I get that. Toss it. They want you to invest money. Not a bad deal if you're a Korean. Not really good for us, I was told.
