Approximately 47 to 48 teaching hours per week
Prepaid return airfare, accommodations and meals provided
Salary of C$1,100 for 4 weeks and C$650 for 2 weeks
Orientation and job training to all teachers for 2 days

Only 48 teaching ours per week? How nice!

And my personal favorite......

Pay $100 for permanent membership fee to Marco Polo Korea
A Marcopolo returning teacher does not pay this $100 fee.

I wonder if they supply the KY for free?

Well, they do provide return airfare, but then if that's only around $1,000 it's still a terrible deal for 48 hours a week.

Some other interesting bits of info...

elementary students aged 9 to 14

Even in Korean years that's not possible.

Not only will they fly you over anyways, but they'll pay you more per week if you only work two weeks.

The above is provisional information as plans are not materialized yet.

Or maybe not.

So it's seven days a week.

Alarm!!!

The teacher is allowed to extend trip within Korea or extend to other countries

Not a terrible deal if you're poor, have time on your hands, really want to travel a bit in Asia, and don't get screwed. But then who really wants to travel around NE Asia in winter?

All-in-all a hell of a weird ad. Well spotted.

Apart from that I see nothing else wrong with this job.

This job rocks. Sign me up!!!

Maybe if I was a high school student, and thought that money was good. Then they'd ask me to do all the blood tests, etc, and I'd tell them to fist themselves.
