i'm about to buy a used modded ps2...the seller says that he bought it at yonsan and then modded it for North American games, but that he owns a burnt copy of winning eleven 10 here and it works fine...
so i'm just want to make sure that with a mod chip, it will play both north american and korean games?
thanks in advance... |

NTSC US/CAN can be played as can NTSC Kor/J. It's the PAL(UK, etc) games that you'll have to patch from 50hz to 60hz. I bought an NTSC Japan PS2 here and had it modded. I have no problems playing original Kor games or any other US DVD games that I've downloaded. A few problems with burnt cd games grinding in the drive, but no other problems at all. |

Yes , you can play all regions. If you have a Tv with S-video or RGB/Scart in you won't even have to patch PAL games, just burn and play. |
