| Hi there, I was looking on planning a trip to Busan for Christmas. Something not TOO expensive but nice. It's for my fiance, and I was thinking and hoping somewhere that has a jacuzzi in the room or somewhere with a massage. Preferably in haeundae or somewhere with great restauraunts/stuff to do/great nightlife. Again, this is for a gift for my fiance so please keep that in mind. ^^ |

I would go for Westin in Haeundae. I don't think they have a jacuzzi in the normal room. But you can get a room with Executive Club Benefits for 210,000 Won + Tax for Xmas eve. Book early thogh.

The Westin is so nice. Much nicer than the Novotel and Paradise. The room decor is really tasteful, but comfortable. The windows open so you can hear the sea (OK, maybe not that much of a perk in December). Seriously, spend the extra cash. You won't miss the extra 50,000 bucks but you'll have nice memories.
Spend an evening in the lobby lounge looking out over hte beach (just make sure you get out of there before the Romanians start on the piano and flute. they are god awful.)
If you want the nicest restaurant in town, go to Ventana's at the Novotel. The set meals without wine run about 50,000/person. But it's really nice and excellent, excellent food.
He's your fiance! Spend some cash! |

I agree with spending the cash but I would like to get him something as a material gift too, so I dont want to just spend money on the hotel ^^
The hotel seems nice. Do the bathtubs have jets in them? Do they do massages in the rooms? |

| I don't remember about the bathtubs. Just call and ask. I would suggest leaving the hotel for a massage. IT'll cost you an arm and a leg there, although it's worth calling them to ask if they have a package. Sometimes the hotesl are running nice pacakges of meals, room, and services. There is a new Thai massage place open across from the Novotel Hotel in the newish Seacloud Hotel (which you might want to check out too). YOu could try that. |

Tip:
The subway card called the Hanaro card works like the T-money
card in Seoul.
The "regular" card is for local commuters and will cause you to
loose money if you don't use it twice a day for a month (60 times). |
