A British lad sells his soul to the devil (in a pub) and subsequently loses his girlfriend, his positiion on the soccer/rugby team, his job, and his parents throw him out of the house (all in one day, if memory serves me correct)
I saw it in an art house cinema in Seoul in the mid-late 1990's. What's the movie name? |

LOL, I used to get questions like this all the time when I managed a video store. Dude, you are gonna have to be a little more specific: actors, director, year, help me out. |

I think you're thinking of one of the stories in The Acid House, based on some short stories from the same collection. I've seen the movie for rent in Korea, the Korean title is Chemical Generation (spelled in hangeul as 케미칼 제네레이션 or something like that). Only the lad doesn't sell his soul to the devil in the pub, he meets a drunken, surly God who turns the lad into a fly. |

It's an Irvine Welsh short story, called "The Granton Star Cause". Didn't see the movie, but the story is hilarious. Especially the climax when he sees his mum and dad playing depraved sex games, with his dad urging his mum to "s.h.i.t.e in ma mooth". |
