9 out of 10 STARS!
I have to say, I was really impressed. It's a great game and really carries on the tradition of the first 2 (I'll leave 3 out of it ).
Things I liked:
1. Graphics and FX...wow! Really getting realistic these days. Turn on shadows for ultimate effect!
2. Intense gameplay. (esp. the awesome sniper map and sequence from the back of the truck and the hind.)
3. Immersive and dramatic sequences and dialogue. I really enjoyed the single player campaign. It really made you feel like you were "in" the game. The dramatic scenes were really moving (esp. [don't want to give spoiler] --> big boom!, and ending).
4. Really fun arcade mode when you finish the campaign.
5. Fast loading!
6. Cool non-fps things like shooting long-distance from a big plane (anyone help with what this awesome killing machine is?) and shooting a cannon from a helicopter.
7. I could play it at decent wide-screen resolution and good settings (i.e. AA and shadows) on my XXX 8600GT
Things a didn't like (heavily overshadowed by what I liked ):
1. The controls were not customizable enough for the way I play...that's just me.
2. Occasional strange choppiness when you try to strafe and move as sniper...(maybe just my GPU, but most times no problem).
3. Short single-player campaign.
4. I couldn't max out ALL the settings because of my GPU.
What did you think? Anyone try the multiplayer? It's supposed to be pretty great. |

I'm playing the demo. Darn good. I'll definitely play the full game. I think I've spent more time playing the Call of Duty series and the Medal of Honor series than all other computer games put together. Just love those WWII shooters. |

It is an amazing game. I have been playing it pretty much non-stop since buying it a week ago. It blows Halo 3 out of the water.
I am only at level 16 though at the moment so I spend most of my time playing on Xbox Live waiting to respawn! There are too many good players blowing me away every time i step out of hiding. |

The Headquarters games mode is the fastest way to level up. I have got over 1000xp in a single game on a few ocassions. |

I played it all weekend and am at the final level now. The single player campaign IS short but what you do have is an awesome experience from beginning to end. I played one game of multi-player so far and liked it, though I tried free for all when I think I'll go team play next time.
By the way I'm playing it for the Xbox 360, anyone else have it for Xbox and want to connect sometime? |

Got it for the 360 at the weekend.
Loved the Beta and played for about 14 hours or so at the weekend.
A bit short single player but the multi player is shit hot. |

Well I finished it this morning before I jumped on the bus. Note that if you wait for all the credits to roll that there is a BONUS mission. I quickly tried to do it but had to leave for my company. Anyway my gamertag is the same as my dave's id so yeah multi-player would be cool. give me a shout. |
