I just blew through the first two seasons of "Weeds"...
A great, great show...I definitely recommend it for anyone who's looking for a new show to watch. |

Also check out Dead Like Me. It seems to appeal to the same type of audience, re the humor style, not the weed. |

I've been watching both of these shows. I like how they push the envelope, and take risks (not the characters, but the producers of the shows), especially Weeds.
For instance, I just watched the episode of Weeds where the kid was flushing his jerk socks down the toilet, clogging the pipes. Then his uncle gave him JO pointers--by request of the kids' mother--and one of the tips he gives is to use a banana peel, heated slightly in the microwave.
Not that that pushes the envelope that much, but I went to E-Mart today and bought a bunch of bananas--a usual purchase for consumption--and it got me thinking. This use of the peel had never crossed my mind. Anyone ever try it? It can get kind of lonely here sometimes.
Second question: After you've done that to a banana peel, have you officially bottomed?
But yeah, those two shows are good. The lead girl in Dead Like Me is both unatractive and incredibly hot at the same time.
Damn, I don't have a microwave. |

possible spoilers!
i just watched the season 3 finale of weeds last night. i liked doug's strolling banjo routine.
hell of an ending though, it feels like it's over. after what celia told the pigs, and nancy's last move, what are they gonna do? where will they go? please, not pittsburg!

It's not a bad show but I think it struggles with the "Desperate Housewives with a dark secret" thing. Also I didn't like how quickly and suddenly they turned the DEA agent from not bad guy to bad guy. |
