There are a few people on this board always asking about when these guys have shows, so I thought I'd plug a show here.
They're playing Saturday night, probably around midnight, at Bar Nana. They usually play a double set so it will go decently late.
I'll be around to hand out flyers for the next reggae night at DGBD.
These guys started as a Skatalites copy with a very traditional ska sound, but they've managed to write a lot of their own great songs. They're the only band in Korea that has this sound; all the others are caught up playing ska-punk (there's a ska-punk show in Skunk Hell that night).
Kingston Rudieska opening for the Slackers in March.
Another Nana show in 2005.
A DGBD show.

Bar Nana is about the only place in Seoul besides Skunk Hell that plays half decent music. Too bad the owner is such a fukstick. |
