Hi ladies, I am a size 5 in ladies pants in Canada but I have no idea in Korean size. I'm seeing like size 30 an under? Anyone know how to find out my size?

If you're seeing sizes 25-32, that is waist size in inches.

I find my body (American) to be different than that of a Korean woman, as I have a small waist but larger hips. I end up buying a larger waist size to accommodate for my hips and needing a belt.

Hence the reason I can't wait to go home and shop this winter!

You'll also see sizes like 55, 66, 77, and 88, but I believe that is more common in tops and coats and such. I find those sizes to be similar to an American XXS, XS, S and M.

I don't know exactly. But USA size 8 = 29/30. You are probably a 24/25:)

Exactly. I don't even try to go for women's pants here because I have hips. And the shirts, I have boobs, so forget that...

I don't think so. I am USA size 0-1, and 24 waist is size 1, 23 is size 0. I've NEVER seen 23 here by the way...and not many 24s or even 25s. Koreans are not THAT small anymore. One of my Korean friends used to own a clothing shop in Hongdae. She told me she only sold 27 and above. She said contrary to foreigners' beliefs they are not that small here. Sure they are, if you compare them to a 400 pound person back in your native country. But not on the average.

My waist size has always been 29/30, size 8, until I got married and turned thirty. The average size of jean here is 4. I've been jean hunting a lot. The highest it goes up to is 8. I didn't notice the smallest size cuz I ain't small. But most jeans have like 6 different measurements on them anyway so it shouldn't be a problem to find the right size.

Don't worry, you won't have a problem. I'm about a 4/5 and I find TONS of jeans I can fit into. The best store I've found is Uniqlo at the COEX mall. They have 25's, 26's, and 27's which should fit you no problem...and they are nice...and LONG...which is a bonus...33 length.

You won't have a problem. I am a size 2-3, which is about size 26/27, and I can find jeans in lots of places. However...many of the jeans seem like they were made for people with toothpick calves, because sometimes, I can't get my legs into them. And I'm a SMALL PERSON! It seems...crazy. I do know that WhoAU sells jeans up to size 36, and lots of 'em. I'm ethnically Korean but have lived in the US my whole life, and I have a thin waist but a curvy hips, so I can definitely relate.
