As the title suggests, I am looking to renovate my bathroom. Just wondering if anybody has done this here and could perhaps recommend a tradesman...tips...advice? I have some help from Korean friends but am also wondering if any of you have different experiences/ideas.

Thanks in advance if you know anything.

I saw a lot of bathroom renovation places on the road between Dongdaemon Stadium and Ejilro 4-Ga. I went in a couple with a Korean friend and tried to see if they had sliding shower doors cause a shower curtain ain't doing the trick; got met with some blank stares, new concept here.
I'd love to have a bathroom where the water didn't get all over the place (sliding doors), or at least where the floor drain was actually at the lowest place on the floor.
Sorry, can't help with suggestions. Love to read any good responses.
Drew

Jungnoguru is the guy to ask.

Sorry, I can't remember how to write his name correctly.

I think it's hit-and-miss. The guy down the street is most likely a slap-and-dash bally-bally-type who'll finish the job in an hour, but leave globs of grout and silicon smeared all over his uneven tiling job.

I think the good places probably cost an arm and a leg, unless you get lucky.

There is a place between Hyewha and Hansung University Station, on the South side of the road, which has a fairly fancy bathroom design display in their window. I have no idea of the prices or quality of work, however. It's next to the big yellow S-oil gas station.

Just be careful who you hire to do the stuff, unless you do it yourself. Those ajossis are not known for their high quality.
