anyone any advice. i'm getting �740 oneway on most search engines.

I understand it's better to buy from an agent in the country your are beginning a trip. I would only buy a trip from a Korean travel agency to the UK from BKK if it included a segment from Korea to BKK as a stopover.

If you are leaving Korea to go to Bangkok and then London, then ask for the flight to have a stop over in BKK for the desired length of stay.

If the quote is still high, try the travel agents in BKK which can be found in the Thai forum of this site as it has a wealth of information on everything Thai. Daves has a really good Thailand guide in it.
