Hiyas,
I have a few questions.

I know there are pet markets in Seoul
Is there one in busan? and if yes where?

Also, is there anywhere to get "papered" pets?

I'm not totally sure what kind of pet you are looking for, but consider adopting. PM timvas . He is involved with a shelter that has tons of adorable pups for adoption. There are also often ads for animals on koreabridge.com/classifieds .

Well in truth,
Not sure what I am looking for Very Happy
I was thinking something like a snake or something that doesn't live that long Shocked

I would love a dog!! BUT i may get flamed for this
I would only take a AKC reg. pup. I like training and competing with them
and if i got a dog/pet it would come home with me.

but, in truth i work alot and think it would be neglected purely from the time I am away.

I was looking at getting a Bangel cat...........just not sure where to find one. I am allergic to regular cats so stuck with only one type i could take.

T Very Happy hank for you help!!

There's a place two stops down from Busan Station called Nampo-Dong. Used to go there a lot, has a string of petshops, some quite good, and even saw a pet monkey on sale for a mllion won.

Turtles are easy to come by, and perhaps lizards. Snakes aren't too well liked in Korea, and pretty rare to find. I think they do sell cats along this stretch of streets, and occasionally I ran into those selling them along the road there.

Most Koreans don't know how to take care of reptiles. The ajumma's at these places have absolutley no idea of the long term needs and commitement surrounding the care of an Iguana.

If you do actually buy a cold blooded pet will need a U-V lamp to help it digest its food. Turtles need some form of filter in their water. Utherwise they are forced to bath in contaminated water.
