Anyone else haveing trouble with the new site? This may sound strange but if I use the computer at work then I get no hits when I search the korean jobs, and also my resume doesn't come up. When I use my home computer everything is fine. WTH?

Works OK in IE, but I never use IE. In Firefox it doesn't remember your email address.

That's true about more than a few websites catering to the Korean market - gmarket, kookmin bank, ublove (not that I - ahem - would know anything about this last one personally...)

anyone know how to "top" your resume? I've tried many times, yet my resume never shows up in the list. I've even registered a new account since the website was updated, but it still doesn't work. Personally I like the old site a hell of a lot more

My husband had to re-register, and so far it hasn't worked in Firefox or IE. In Firefox the Submit button doesn't work when you're done filling out the profile, in IE the locations buttons don't work so you can't submit, it just keeps telling you to re-do it!
After several msgs to the webmaster, they put his profile up, but for what ever reason his nationality shows up as Bolivian, even though we've asked them to change it, twice. Frustrating! And it still won't let us post his resume, even with them doing his profile! I have no idea why! I miss the old one!

work and play was a great site; esp., for non-newbs.

But the change has F'd things up for me- firefox and IE. Hopefully someone will see this and change back to the original PHP or whatever they use....

Unfortuately, they seem not to have heard that old wagukkin adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

This is true with Korea Rail also. They use to have a very functional interactive English version train schedule. Put in the date, origin, destination get back all the schedule info. Now they've took away that helpful English version though it still works in Hangeul.

Yea, why exchange something that works for something that is broken?

It's OK to upgrade things as long as the replacement is as good if not better than the one you had before.

Is worknplay the same worknplay or has it changed hands?

I don't know for sure, but I understood that they were the best public school recruiter. I am not sure if want to use them since they are goofing off on the internet which leads me to believe they are not the same people working that they had before.

QFE

Just deleted it from bookmarks.

I get so tired of the way Koreans implement websites, with all thier signups, pop-ups, malware, etc.

Bad news that work n' play is now a no-go.

Does anyone know if worknplay is still the big public school recruiter?

If not, who is for March '08 jobs?

I know I can apply to all the recruiters, but I understand EPIK won't hire you if they receive more than one application for you so this is a risky situation that requires applying only one time with the right recruiter.

I could apply directly through EPIK, but a recruiter secures the province of your choice while EPIK randomly places you in any province if it will be your first year in EPIK.

Is all of what I said correct or are there facts I am missing here?
