|
|
I already know the biggish gift I'm getting my boyfriend, so that's nothing to worry about. Since neither of us have family here in Korea, I thought I'd put together a little stocking for him as well with some smallish stuff in it. Nothing too fancy or pricy, but I want to think of some things to fill it up. Practical is ok.
I've already thought of candy (obviously), new guitar picks, razorblade refills, and socks (sounds lame, but he complains he doesn't have enough and it's hard to find his size).
For the guys out there (or girls who are good at this kind of thing), what kind of things would you like in your Christmas stocking, be they for fun or for practical use.
Thanks
ps - feel free to be creative! |

This thread title seemed very dirty after reading that "WIFE'S HOT FRIEND."
Anyway, I really like giving (and getting) those 1-serving bottles of fancy booze (I've picked them up in bulk at the airport while burning off extra currency, but I don't know where to get them around here.)
What you've already thought of sounds great.
What about some swank condoms, or something else to pamper himself, like manly lip-balm or lotion? |

USB flash drive if he doesn't have one - you can get these cheap nowadays
Favorite candy was a good idea
Depending on tastes/need: Gloves, winter hat, guitar strings, notepad/organizer, books, video games (a bit expensive for new ones though), mouse/keyboard handrest, cologne, a lump of coal, a small animal...
Not keychains, not cellphone charms |

If you can find any sort of salamis, pepperonis or other Hickory farms type meat, those rock. Cheese is good too. And guy mags, like Stuff or FHM...not the other type of guy mags... |

Haha I like the thong idea.
Alcohol is a good one too.
Condoms aren't necessary.
He already has a scarf that I made him.
Magazines are also good. |

Pamper himself? With a LIP BALM?! You are so Canadian.
Stocking fillers:
A tin whistle.
Special breakfast cereal.
Pistachio nuts.
A sign saying 'hwajangsil'.
A hand-strengthener.
A tape measure.
A USB cable. (You can never have too many).
A bottle of chilli sauce.
A harmonica.
A zippo.
A musical egg.
A Rubik's cube.
A Nintendo Gameboy.
Some mandarins.
A whip and top.
Viagra.
Some fancy cosmetic-type products. (something DECENT like Clarins or Elemis, not cheap crap.)
Guitar strings.
A guitar slide.
A capo.
An e-bow. (The last four work best if he plays the guitar. If he doesn't, a guitar.)
A dog.
A cat.
A hamster.
Some Cadburys chocolate from the Foreign Food Market. |

Although I think the eyeball kids list is very complete, what else could he possibly want??
*body shop stuff is always good.
*A Whizzer and Chips annual
*If he wants socks then you're in the right country for that.
*a good toilet book. Something to read on the bog.
*a bit of quality booze
*how about a nice top that you think he'll like and you also really like.
*maybe an IOU "1 night of passion" note. (to be used in the next 24 hours)
*Or if he's like me, a griffin. Never ever got one, but still waiting. |

Guitar strings.
A guitar slide.
A capo.
An e-bow
He does indeed play guitar, but I'm quite clueless about anything guitar related.
One of the bigger gifts I'm considering is an amp he's had his eye on (on the net) and/or this high quality tuner he's been looking at. He's already got like 3 guitars.
Would you mind telling me what a guitar slide, capo and e-bow are? |

Nintendo makes the micro gameboy, I got one in my stocking last year.
It's inexpensive too. Under 100 bucks.

Great for the subway...

Hey, never ever had a guy bitch about me wearing a thong.
And if the guy is Korean...well, don't start with a lace thong or string thong, that'll kill them. After you've broken him into the joy that it not granny-panty-butt, order a really sexy thong (from the net, of course, cause this is Korea and you sure as hell can't find a decent thong here) and let the happiness begin... |

Haha he's not Korean, so I doubt it would shock him since thongs and the mid-bum boycut are my daily underwear of choice.
Thanks for the info on the guitar accessories, it definitely helps.
The gameboy thing looks interesting as well. This definitely has given me a few more ideas! Thanks! |
