I have a weeklong vacation at the beginning of Feb. My boyfriend is coming here from America to visit, and I am not sure what the best thing to do is. When he was here last time (in the summer), we went to the mud festival and later stayed at a hotel in Seoul for a few days. (I live in Goyang)
So I am not sure what to do for the week off. I kind of want to go away. I am thinking about going to Tokyo, but it would be cheaper to stay in Korea. I also know the lunar new year is that week... so where would the best place to spend it be that isn't too much money? (around $500 per person or so)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |

Been to Gyeonggu yet? That's a good 3 days or more if you hike all the relic scattered mountains. Jeju can be nice if you rent a car there, but after 3 days in the winter you'll see it all. I think if your boyfriend lives in the USA and is coming to visit, you could rent a yeogwan for 25,000 a night and find plenty of things to do. |
