And my almost-total avoidance of K-pop is going well.

/Thank you, noise-canceling headphones

Haven't heard the song, but have had a number of students saying that in the last week or so

I'll take hours of K-pop these days over Last Christmas, that soul-destroying drivel 1984 from Ridgely and Michael. I first heard it this year in Home Plus on October 27th. Egads.

It's a cute song about a guy who really loves a girl ven though before he told her he didn't. And yes, it beats that Wham Last Christmas drivel. Just about anything does, except country. Talk about a suicidal song. Just like Mariah Carey's 'All I Want for Cristmas is You". Give me a break.

Oh yeah, I heard that drivel in October, too. Why would you want to dredge up bad memories from last Christmas. I guess the Whammers wanted to, when they wrote that mess. Personally, I'dr ather just forget bad memories.

I totally agree...
That Mariah Carey song is worse than anything the Korean pop industry can produce...

I enjoy saying "I'm so sorry but I don't love you" to my high school students.
I do love them though...
