I just got my long-awaited PS3. I bought FIFA 2008 with it but I'm itching for some EA Sports NHL '08. I saw it on Playasia for around 60,000 KRW and it says it's not region-protected. (By the way the selection of games I saw were pretty limited so hopefully this improves).
Anyone know for sure if I can play this on my PS3? I bought it at Technomart so obviously it's the Korean/Japanese version. Also, does anyone have any experience modding a PS3?

Actually I just read somewhere that blu-ray games are not region-coded so I guess there's no modding to be done and I can order this baby!
If I'm wrong, please let me know. |

No your not wrong you should be able to play it without a hitch.
It's true there aren't that many games available at the moment but that will change, have no fear. |
