This is so funny. If you have ever lived in a big US city, then telemarketing is the job you get when in a crunch or if difficult unemployable times find you.

I wonder if it's a low paying going nowhere kind of job in Korea like it is in America?
I know it's big in India now too, but the $12,000 US earned in a year goes a long way for them like $80,000 US would in America while those in America would only earn $12,000 to $18,000 telemarketing. I used to do it during college from 2002 to 2005 doing mortgage refinances and equity loans and it was shite pay, but gave me experience in general marketing, business, and people skills though not a respectable area of experience. It was amazing how gullible some people really are which is why such an obvious trouble hooked lure works. Even CEO's and other well paid people would fall for it and give out all their info just to pay more for their home loan! I had em' thinking they could save a little money. |
