Yes it does go to the airport you have to transfer at gimpo airport line 5. It takes about 40 minutes or so from gimpo to incheon. From the place you said I have no clue sorry.

From Bupyeong it would be a total waste to take the subway as you're already in Incheon.

Take the limousine bus.

Figure about an hour. Take the Incheon line north to the end, which is Gyeyang I think. Then you have to transfer to the airport line.

u can always just take a bus from the incheon bus terminal (it's about 5 stops from bupyeong). a ticket to the airport is about 7000W, takes about 1hr, and is pretty cushy. no transfers, u get a seat, lots of luggage space. much better than riding the train all the way there with suitcases.

So I'm confused now...

If I want to take the subway in from Myongdong, what station am I heading for to reach Incheon Airport? There is no "Incheon Airport Station" on the map. The Cyber Station Site says it's about 84 mins from Gyeyang. Is that the airport?

It's not on that map, but I think the transfer is at Kimpo. The line won't be extended to 합정 or Seoul Station until sometime later.

No. That map doesn't have the new airport line.

Really, from Myeongdong, and most places in fact, it is a waste of time to take the subway to the airport. The buses are so much quicker. From Myeongdong, you would have to go out to Gimpo airport.

Ugh... thanks.

How much time do you figure it'd take to Gimpo from Incheon airport?

You can catch one of the airport buses at Bupyeong as well. I believe #111 goes by there. Maybe some of the others do too. 3000W (2700W with a transit card). The train is pretty nice and rarely crowded. I recommend it. But I hate riding buses.

The bus from Seoul Station takes 40 minutes to over an hour. I've made it in 40 minutes, including a stop at Yongsan (you can catch it there, too, in the parking garage). It is 13,000 won one way (discount on a return ticket, like if you are just going to the airport to meet or drop someone off). To find the bus: Exit Seoul Station from the LotteMart/SmoothieKing side and walk to the big street with many bus and taxi pickups. Before you get to the pickups, take a left and walk past the old station building. If you get to the red bus line stops, you've just past the airport bus station.

Can this be correct? It takes about 40 minutes to reach the airport from Shinchon. How can it take longer from a location already in Incheon?

'Cos it goes round and round in circles. I used to catch the 111; it took 90minutes from Goo Wol Dong, which is where Shinsegae, Lotte Dept Store and OUtlet are located. From there it takes about 20 minutes to Bupyeong.
