First off, I know I'm stupid and my stupidness got me into this.
I don't have a copy of my contract. I don't know where it is. I leave in a month. Today the bossman told me he leaves, for good, in a week, so I started questioning him about severence and airfare. "No problem," he said, "I'll pay you before I go." What a relief. "Except I don't believe that airfare was included in the contract."
I know it was and I know his copy of the contract, the original, the only one, is with Immigration. He forgot to make a copy. So neither of us have a copy but he thinks I have a copy (maybe - he knows but it was awhile ago and perhaps he's forgotten that I mentioned it...or he remembers and is trying to corner me).
Is there anywhere I can get a copy? Immigration? |
