I have a question regarding money orders. Luckily for me my parents have decided to send me money for christmas this year. I was told by my Korean friend that you cannot exchange money orders in Korea. I really don't think this makes sense. Can anyone offer some advice?
Besides a direct money transfer through the bank, can anyone suggest an alternative method of sending money from Canada to Korea?
On a final note, anyone here peeved about spending 100, 000 won, just to send a package home? I know it's the season of giving but I hate giving my money to the postal service. It seems that the cost of sending something costs more than the actual present being sent!!
Merry Christmas all! Damn, time flies here in Korea. |

Order gift certificates online. Much hassle avoided. |

Can't your folks put it into your Canadian bank account for you? |
