shop around - go to technomart - upstairs, 7, 8th floors, you can find what you need and make a deal.

you didn't specify if you wanted it for a nb or desktop am assuming nb?

make sure they format it for you for your os - at least mine needed to be - if you don't have a start up cd or something?

Fits in my shirt pocket... yes.... my USB thumb drive was getting too small for the stuff I usually pack around and this one doesn't need an external power supply.

I got a 500gig Seagate in an external case at Son-in for 130k.

You can do a 160 gig full size drive in an external case for about 70k.

The 160 for 70k sounds more up my alley. I'm just wondering if anyone has one that they don't really use anymore that I could get a deal on.

I bought a 250GB SATA drive for 37K Won (Western Digital). Very Happy You should learn to haggle a little @ the Yongsan stores. Also check the prices on danawa before you go there. You will get a rough idea of what the prices should be.
Technomart is upstreet and you will in all probability end up paying a lot more than you do @ Yongsan.

250GB HDD (37K) + External HDD enclosure (24K) = 61K

Yeah, I like yongsan but I've only been a couple times, and I don't know where the best places are yet. It's a little overwhelming and even frustrating when you have 100 different shops with the exact same inventory. I always haggle, but I don't seem to get that big of discounts usually.

that's totally nonsense - a foreigner in yongsan is just someone walking around with a big S for sucker on their shirt - those vendors lie cheat and steal like there's no tomorrow when it comes to dealing with foreigners Evil or Very Mad
