I posted the ad for a winter intensive teacher for an Incheon hagwon a few days ago. The post hasn't been filled. However, I am no longer accepting applications. Sorry, if you've sent me an e-mail and I did not get back to you.
You see, my first reply was from "the perfect candidate". When I presented it to my employer, he told me he did not want the guy and to look for someone less qualified (so he could pay them a sub-standard wage).
In the spirit of not being a POS recruiter out to screw my fellow teachers, I will not find my crapwon owner a replacement. -see original ad for details-
For what it's worth, yesterday he told me he called a recruiter and was told it would take 2-3 months to get an overseas newbie. So, if you are nearing the end of your contract, be prepared to demand a higher wage. |

With the raft of new regulations coming in, that should be general policy for all ESL teachers now. |
