| I heard a rumor that in June or July Korean nationals will no longer have to apply for a tourist visa to go to the USA. Does anyone know anything about this? |

Its still in the talking stages. If you go to the US embassy Korea website they say that nothing has been decided and its still purely speculation.
Basically, don't make any travel plans as of yet. |

| i have heard about this too, what i heard is if the crime rate amongs koreans on visas in america drops below 3% then koreans can automatically get a 90 day visa to enter the usa (like we get when we come to korea). |

| Last week, a news article said the US government has postponed visa waivers for Korean and they will NOT happen in 2008. They said it is possible they will be waived in 2009, but made no promises or dates. |

| I heard the same thing BB did, 2008 looks very doubtful for a visa waiver for Koreans. It is possible for 2009, but again so many things could change between now and then. |
