Do most DVD players play foreign movies over here? I am thinking of getting one to watch my movies on a big screen instead of on my computer.... How much would one that would play American movies cost?

I would recommend going to Yongsan. When you go there look at some DVD players and ask specifically if its region free. The shop owners will tell you. I bought mine there last year for about 40,000 won. I don't think it was region free initially but, they did something to it that allowed it to play any dvd. One cool bonus with the player I bought is that it can play Divx movies if you burn them onto a disc. Oh and my player isn't a major brand, but it still works well.
