My friend recently gave me a very nice desktop PC, but unfortunately it has no power supply. There is a just an empty space at the back where the power connection would go.

Am I able to take it to somewhere like Yongsan, and get them to put one in it for me? What would be a fair price to do this? I have no clue about such things, so any help would be gratefully received.

Any computer shop can do it for you. 30-40k won for the average power supply (installed).

It is not worth a special trip to Yongsan unless you live in the neighborhood.

yeah, just make sure you know the following (you need it in order to buy the PSU):

-How much power your graphics card and board needs
-Is your motherboard a 20 or 24 pin connection (just count the slots on the motherboard where the PSU plugs into)
-Does your motherboard require a seperate 4 to 6 pin additional power plug-in
-What kind and how many VGA card plugs do you need (as well as how many harddrive plugs)

If you don't know the answers to these questions, take a pic or two of the inside and we'll tell you.

Me.
