I'm sure I'm not the only one with questions about how to obtain an open ticket. How would I go about purchasing one of these things online? I've tried Eva Air's Multi-Destination feature but the html code on their site is faulty...

I've only bought tickets with departure destination/times set in stone. I would like to be able to fly to a country, stay for however long I like (according to visa rules, of course), fly out to the next country, etc...all on one convenient ticket. I'm not sure if I have been the most clear and concise speaker, hopefully you guys can explain this better...^_^;

You have to get them from an agent or the airline tcket office.

Simply ask for an open return ticket. They USUALLY are sold as 1 year, 6mo, 3mo or 30day open return tickets.

They are usually slightly more expensive than fix date return tickets,

Thank you for your reply but it is the same advice I have been hearing: to "simply ask." Sorry but it is NOT simple...

I do not speak Korean. The 2 travel agents I have spoken to in Korea who DO speak English had no idea what an open ticket was. I've been to various airline sites and still have not found the option in plain sight.

It is not simple for me to ask. What words are you using? I am being serious. I am not trying to be sarcastic or anything like that. I want an extremely clear answer.

Are you telling me that I cannot get an open ticket online? I MUST speak with a human about these matters? Not that I am scared of humans or anything, I just figured that getting an open ticket online was possible...so far it looks like I am wrong.

It seems the Korean word for open ticket is ....open ticket. They use our words only the et on the end of ticket sounds et than our pronouciation of it. Maybe speak slower and pronounce the et in ticket. I have found these suble changes in pronounciation make it hard for them to understand.

Just be patiant and don't leave until you get what you want. They may be playing games.

Sorry that's all I can come up with.
