				| my uni's website has a link to the national student clearinghouse (www.studentclearinghouse.org)
which says it's an official verification office for all schools registered in their database - it's where transcripts come from now for the same reason.

has anyone spoken to seoul immi about using this for verification of our degrees?

i will try and call this org w/i the next 24 hours and report what i learn but if anyone else knows anything please share.

 thanks!

				| This would be the best solution for everyone. So the Korean government would not go for it. | |

				| useless indeed. GEPIK wanted me to verify my degree using clearinghouse. I did and had no problems doing so. 2 weeks later...some memo with a bunch of websites on there. The websites only shows that my uni is an accredited uni..it does not "verify" my specific degree or anything. My ct asked me to go to my uni's website and find a list of all the graduates. I said that is impossible..end of story. | |

it's not clear what exactly, if anything you did?

their website definitely mentions cost - and i've always paid for my transcripts thru their secure website - so it doesn't sound like you either went to the wrong one or didn't follow their link properly?

				| They also know about www.Chea.org
But they never use it, too many English words there- no Korean....bummer for them......

Let me just say, if they used those sites to help in the verification process, where would they have a chance to use their brilliant Korean logic?

I mean, this is Sparkling Korea, you know......or was it Korea Sparkling.....I'm all mixed up
