I thought I'd pass this along for those in GEPIK who are not aware that your vice-principal or principal has the authority to give you 2-3 extra days of vacation to explore Korea's culture. The only stipulation is that you are in Korea during those days.

If your co-teacher isn't aware of this, have them look through the guidebook that most of them should have received.

This is a guidebook put out by GEPIK, I take it? Does it have a name?

I think a lot of co-teachers either received the book via mail or from a conference they had to attend back in March or April. It's a guidebook for the co-teachers and covers things like contract issues, pay, vacation, etc. My co-teacher showed it to me, but I don't know the name of it.

Take the boat out to Dokdo, jump off, and swim the rest of the way to Japan.

See something worth seeing. Laughing

If you go to Dokdo, aren't you already in Japan? Laughing
