Am going through the steps to stay another year at my PS school, and my CT asked me about the price for the flight home. I'm opting for the reimbursement instead. I checked on whypaymore.co.kr just for a glimpse, and she asked if it was OK to use the internet to get the ticket price. Is there any stipulation/rule about where the price comes from? I know the contract says it must be a direct flight to the nearest airport to my home city, but it doesn't say anything about where the ticket price comes from in the 2007 GEPIK contract, right?

There are other threads I'll dig out later, but I was under the impression that was for the 2006/prior GEPIK contracts, and now for 2007 it's a full reimbursement.

Anyone else have a confirmation for this?

Current contracts provide full reimbursement of the flight home.

Older contracts had a limit of 75% of the Korean air FULL FARE ticket price.
This is NOT to be confused with 75% of the ticket price.

If you have questions or concerns, CALL the GEPIK liason office.

You mean CALL Dain Bae, the liason who thinks schools don't have to pay into American teacher's pensions, and has concocted other assorted ridiculous claims: that's just a scary thought.

If anyone has gone through this with their school, just let me know what you did...
