If anyone is curious to see a little of what Korea is like, you can check out a few of my streaming videos by clicking the "www" button below.

I made them with my Mini-DV camcorder and Adobe Premiere, along with Microsoft's free Media Encoder.

If it says the site is blocked due to excessive bandwidth usage, please try again tomorrow. I am using a free server until I find someplace that will host more stuff for cheap. They only allow so much use per day. Sad

A hint: If you want to save the video to view again later, you can download it and save it on your hard drive by right-clicking on the video link of your choice and choosing "Save As".

Hope you enjoy!

Temporarily Unavailable

The Angelfire site you are trying to reach has been temporarily suspended due to excessive bandwidth consumption.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that one, Reality. It seems to be up again. Good old free hosting services...

Actually, I think I've found a good hosting service which will give me lots of space and bandwidth for cheap, so I'll get going on there tonight, possibly.

I am using a Panasonic Mini DV-Cam -- consumer camera I bought for about $500 in the USA a year and a half ago. It's not even one of the nicer progressive models. There are better cameras out there for the money now.

I send the video in via Firewire, and edit with Adobe Premiere. Then I output a full-size .avi file and use a free program called Microsoft Media Encoder to compress the files into .wmv. Those files I then save in my web site with a link , and then they stream.

Just saw this thread right now, didn't read through the responses but will say, cool will definately check it out as soon as I get time. But then I'll be over there next month not long at all. Later.

edit -- cool site name, very good pics with digi camera for being taken personally yourself. will check out vids...

Oh by the way -- the Canon S-20 is the only camera I really wanted to buy back in 2001 but they discontinued it. But don't know much about S-30.

Another quick edit -- yes Itaewonguy totally speaks for me (in everyone of his posts) and I agree love the girl shots. However, sorry gotta speak my mind, drop the (c)rap music fine if you like it but personally I don't think it fits in even though today's youngest Koreans are becoming more idiotic. But then in my mind Korea is more of a 20s/30s/40s, I don't see it through the eyes of the teen gen. But anyways in any respect I simply think Koreans have more potential than that "music," music doesn't suit them.

Now that wouldn't be because it's a genre of music that arose out of urban black culture, now would it, Coffeecup?

As a raggety defense, I happened to be in a hurry late at night, and chose that song. Didn't feel like digging up another. Not the best match, I will agree, although I like the song itself. The different shots I had really showed some big audio differences. The Korean concert going on was very loud, while the other shots weren't so loud. Couldn't just choose any song to fit there, I suppose.

I plead the 5th.
