Can anyone tell me of a place that will do finger printing for the new E2 regulations? I am submitting my backround check and need to get it done. Does the police station do it like in the US? Thanks.

Wouldn't the immigration office near Nampo Dong do it (Jungang Dong)? I remember that's when I was fingerprinted for my first job in 2002.

Anyway, with all the new bother/bureaucracy with confirming one's qualifications I'm glad I returned home after completing my second contract in 2005.

Also, I returned for a holiday in 2006 but with all the trouble happening I'd rather go somewhere else until it calms down. Foreigners don't seem to be too welcome in Korea. I noticed the mood changing in early 2005 and that was one of the reasons I didn't sign on with YBM for another year.
