i bought an external USB hard drive about 3 months ago from Samsung and it just broke today. I'm in incheon, and i REALLY need it fixed asap (i have a paper for my course due next week, and it's on this stupid machine).

can anyone recommend a place to go? do u think they'll be able to retrieve the information on it??

please help me out! i'm really desperate to get this fixed soon

Did you buy it here? Take it back to the shop. If it's just the mounting box thingy then they can just change that without damaging any data. Otherwise it's around 1000 bucks for data retrieval, which would take too long anyway.
Don't stick it in the freezer or hit it with a hammer!

i bought it here, and i honestly did nothing to the stupid thing, i even have a special, spongy protective cover.
i was hoping not to go all the way to seoul to get it fixed, do u know of any places in incheon?
