Korean brands won't fit you, and foreign brands here are ridiculously overpriced (double or three times the price), and even the foreign brands sometimes don't fit as they are actually made for Koreans. I have never seen Evisu in Korea, but if it is here, it will be very expensive. |

I'm 6'1 175 lbs. and I don't have too much trouble finding clothes at all. Granted, I live in Seoul. Elsewhere, you might have some problems.
Evisu jeans are available here. I've seen a couple of shops in Seoul.
Dress shirts, suits, etc. you easily buy off the rack can get tailored. I stop by a particular cutter once a year to reup on my biz attire.
Jeans, sweatshirts, are usually no problem T-shirts can be a bit tricky sometimes though, especially at the "Korean Korean" markets like Dongdaemun.
Spend some time in Myeong-dong and you should be able to find just about anything you want. |

Korean clothes are absolutely awful awful AWFUL and if you have any sort of taste or self-respect, you would buy everything you can before you come here. |

If you are near Osan airbase you won't have any trouble finding clothes that fit at a reasonable price! |

I used to agree with you, but not anymore, I actually think if you spend the time looking through clothes at stores, you can find real gems. I've bought so much clothes since I first got here 6 months ago. I'm a female mind you, but I have guy friends who dress really well and they've purchased the clothes here too:) |

WTF are you guys shopping? More importantly, WTF are you guys shopping for, overalls and flannels?
There are tons of great stores that fit an average/athletic build western male. 6'2 at 180 is probably about the same frame I am at 6'1 175, and take it from me...once you learn where to shop, you won't have any problems.
I've been here a few years, and only have one pair of jeans that I purchased overseas. The rest has come from shops here. |
