				| For most of us being an ESL Instructor in Korea was not the thing that we dreamed of as children ....
 My discussion topic is:

"What Career do you, secretly wish, deep down inside, do you think would be better and more fufilling then what you are doing now?"

For myself, I have a deep seeded longing to be ........

 a chef.

 (don't tell anyone)

				| International something-or-other.. no clue what that is exactly.. but it would involve intense amounts of traveling..
Either that or some guy who owns a bunch of apartment buildings.. lives off the rent.. and can do anything and go anywhere at anytime..

(Many other ideas but all along that same theme)

				| I always wanted to be James Bond.
Panther, I was almost a chef (well, at least heading down that path) and I say to go "Go for it!" if you have the determination.

I got out because pure kitchen work wasn't for me, I prefered to crank out loud tunes while creating something interesting, not cooking for a crowded room.

I'm still trying to figure out something to do with food/restaurants/etc when I head back to the states. Looking at catering businesseds kitchen/cooking supply stores (non-commercial, more geared toward the young professional that entertains at home; have some good marketing/PR plans laid out) and a few other ideas.

				| I've always liked the idea of being a chef too...or a forensic scientist. Maybe I just like working with knives and other sharp instruments? Hmmmm..... | |

				| I have always wanted to be the weather personality on TV, but what I really am suited for is marketing and advertising but I am more than a bit late to get started in this field. But being in edutainment isn't all that bad. (Oh, what?, that is education, sorry, what ever you want.) | |

				| I always wanted to be a dogmatic Socialist Revolutionary, I still do, but now I take more of a pragmatic approach i.e I won't throw you all against the wall for your crimes against the people. | |

				| The day I figure that out is the day I leave Korea and start doing it. The truth is, I just don't really know what I'm suited for. The limbo that is Korean ESL doesn't seem like the worst place to hang out and save some dosh while I try to figure that out, though. | |

Now I'm aspiring to be a professor. High goals I set, I know.

				| Always wanted to be a writer..oh yeah I am. Let me rephrase that. I always wanted to be a published writer in something more legitimate than a school paper. | |

				| I'd like to be a train or subway driver. Really. Probably never will happen though. Not a bus driver - that'd suck. | |
