|
I need to go to Suwon Immigration on Monday to arrange for a replacement ARC ... I know what I need to have to do that ... But I am less confident about getting there ... The last (and only) time I have been there one of my teachers drove me there from school. We are about 1 hour away by car 1 1/2 by bus. On Monday I am going by myself. What I want to know is where the office is in relation to subway stations. ie what station is it closest to ... and how to get there from the subway station.

What I need to know is the nearest subway station AND how to get to the Immigration Office from there ... |

Go to Hwaseo Station on line #1
To take a taxi: Take the right exit, down the stairs, cross the street, wait in the taxi line, say, "immi" and you're there in 2mns. for 1900W
To walk: Take the left exit, down the stairs, follow the path (there is only one way to go when you get to the bottom of the stairs) which turns into a side walk, pass the massive church (it should be on your left), keep walking until right before you hit the end of the road (marked by street lights and an option to go left or right), look up and to your right and you'll see a sign that says Suwon Immgration (big white'ish building)
The walk will take you about 15mns. and seeing as it's so freakin' cold, I suggest taking a taxi. Have someone write 'Suwon Immigration Office' in Korean for you just in case the cab driver doesn't understand. |

You're right cheeky, aren't you? Good luck and I hope you get lost and pull a number in the 800's... |

Alternatively, go to Suwon station and catch a #11, 11-1, 11-2 bus. They all drive right past it. Get off at the e-mart and walk 200 meters to the immi office. |

Also you can take the 82-2 bus which also does by E-mart. |
