|
|
So I was looking at koreaembassy.org which is the official website for the Korean Embassy in the U.S. and as I am going to be working at a Uni next year the E-1 visa caught my attention. The requirements are:
Professors
(E-1)
- Certificate of career
- Employment contract or certificate of expected employment
The second part is easy. However, after an extensive search on the net, I have not been able to find out anything about the Certificate of career that is required.
So, anyone have any info about what this "certificate" is and what is required to get it? |

resume or CV with references.
OR
Korean style certificates of employment (which don't exist outside of Korea).

Thanks for the reply.
If I could ask some more questions...have you gone through the process for an E-1 visa?
Are letters of reference from universities in Korea (showing prior work experience) acceptable and do you need references for each of your prior positions?
Thanks. |

They should be fine. You do NOT need all of them for immigration but may need them for the uni you are applying to. |
