I'm leaving soon and need to start getting rid of some of these guitars. First on the chopping block, a dark green hollowbody Schecter electric guitar.
This guitar was bought about five months ago with the thinking, 'instead of shelling out big bucks, why not pick up a good knock-off'. And so it was. Solid guitar, fairly thick sound. Has 2 Duncan Designed humbuckers with a Piezo pickup.
Included is a gig bag, stand, strap and an extra set of strings. All together I'm asking for 300,000Won OBO.

I've played these and liked them. Not as much as the solid body that's one step up though.
I'm kinda tempted, but don't want to have to buy an amp.
Have any acoustics for sale? |

You don't have to buy an amp. In fact, I wouldn't recommend it.
What I've done, and most people I know here, is one of two things. Either you get a recording program (my computer is crap but can still run Cakewalk) and go that route, or rent a practice space. Kinda hard to figure out where they are but once you do you're set. For 10,000/hr you can fiddle around with halfstacks and the like. The one near me even has a multi-effects pedal in the room. Cables (as well as straps, picks, etc.) are provided. I can point you the way to practice rooms in Hyehwa and Hongdae.
Anyway, about acoustics. I do have one but it's a lefty. Cort brand, acoustic/electric. But, like I said, had the nut replaced and restrung it left-handed. |

But where would you play? Apartments are too small. Hell, even in the States we would get complaints all the time. The only time I've played with other people here has been in practice rooms (met some guys from the internet about seven months ago and still get together with the drummer and play at a practice room once a week) or making computer music in someone's place. There's also the possibility of playing at a club, but those places have amps available too. |

Nice price for a nice guitar. I would love this but I just don't have the space. I am playing a schecter tempest at the moment and if anyones interested give this a go. They are amazing sounding guitars, light, have a good range and they are pretty reliable (I haven't been to the repair shop in over 4 years of owning one).
Hope the sale goes well and you never know I might just find some space for it. |
