Here are come CRT HDTVs on Danawa: http://www.danawa.com/elec/prod_list/?defSite=DISPLAY&cate_c1=149&cate_c2=180&cate_c3=0&cate_c4=0&display=display (some at the bottom of the page)

CRT is still a great technology (IMHO) and HD will still look good. I prefer my LCD just 'cause it saves so much space. I also don't think CRTs generally come out in widescreen format (16:9).

You can get a decent PAVV or Xcanvas LCD for around 700,000 KRW so if that's in your price range, I'd say go for that instead.

i have a full HD Vixlim (the Samsung CRT HD TV), and i like it, but one word of warning. in non-full screen mode, the sides can look a little warped. if you intend to watch everything in WS mode (which i do) and not toggle between the two viewing modes, then this is not a problem. otherwise, this is something you should be aware of.
