I'm not sure if anyone has had this problem, but I am having problems using my US Bank Check card due to the pin being "incorrect." I actually locked the card due to the numerous incorrect attempts. I called my bank and they told me that they could not unlock my card unless they sent me a new pin. Now the reason the pin was incorrect was because 3 months prior, they had sent me a new pin because I had forgotten it. After speaking with three different reps, they told me the pin they had sent back in September was only a "temporary" pin and that I was required to change it. I'm pretty certain I was never informed verbally or in writing of this, but that's another issue.

My question is: has anyone gotten a cash advance without having a pin? I have my passport and ARC to verify that this card does belong to me. It's just a pain in the ass to try and this issue settled. I do have the option of wiring money from this US Bank account to a Korean Bank account, but there's a $35 fee. Anyone know??

I'd be very surprised if you can get a cash advance without your pin number. This would be difficult enough in the US, so your chances here are even slimmer.
