Okay, so my husband and I live in Kittitas, WA, which is just a s__t little town in the middle of Washington that has NOTHING going for it except the owner of the local mini-mart is KOREAN and stocks things like Shin Ramyun Noodle bowls.

Well, I talked to him tonight and told him that we used to live in Korea and that we would love it if he'd stock our favorite Korean junk food and I can't for the life of me remember the name of this ramyun stuff I used to eat and I need ya'lls help.

Lemme describe it:

It's like go-chu sauce ramyun and the way you make it is you let the noodles soak in hot water for 3 minutes or so and then you drain off the water and then add this stuff that's like go-chu paste to it.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? What's it called?! And can someone provide me w/ a picture and/or name brand? I'm desperate!

I successfully remembered the nong shim jja jang noodles that I love so much, but this one is totally escaping me!

I can't believe our luck at finding a store in our podunk town that can get KOREAN JUNK FOOD!!!! Happy day!

Also, the "gochu paste" is liquos, NOT powder. This is IMPORTANT. There are MANY ramyeons with powder that you can add to them, but this one is red LIQUID that comes in a little pack.

Sparkles. Maserial. I promise a post a day for a week (month) if you can make this happen, because it will get me laid.

That is all.

Yes, yes. I forgot to mention the liquidity of the packet.

And it's spicy and it really has no frills to it. It's just MSG, Red No. 5 goodness.

It's straight-up junk food and if I can get it here in Kittitas, WA, Don Gately is right. He can have whatever kinky s__t he wants for ever and ever.

I'm a cheap date, what can I say?

Chime in, peeps!!!
