My contract end date is quite a ways away, but I'm sure it will sneak up
on me.

How do I leave and still get all my money? I'm sure I'll be owed a months pay, my completion bonus, and my pension.

I'll have a couple of bills come in after I leave. What if I want to be honest and pay them?

You won't get completion bonus because there's no such a thing. However, you will get your "severance".

And with regards to your final bills. Your school will get reading off of utility meters and be able to contact the utility companies and ask for prorated amount for each bill. Then they deduct that amount from your final pay.

Thank-you for the correction.
If my final paycheck is deposited after I leave then how do
I get the money home?

They SHOULD give you that, the severance, and any other money coming to you before you leave. Ask them about specifics as the time approaches.

DO NOT accept anything along the lines of, "We'll wire it to you." or "We'll deposit it, don't worry."

Demand cold hard cash to be placed in your hands on your last day.
