I use it (and did so even in my homecountry - before coming here) - as an alternative to milk...
(being raised vegetarian - soy was needed to get all the essentials that I never got from eating meat).....

Soybean is the main material of Vegemil that is rich in good quality protein. That's why our ancestors called soybean "beef that comes from soil" and it has been one of our five grains which were our main food. In our old book it is written that soybean was treated as a medicine and recently advanced countries approved the effectiveness of medical treatment and prevention of chronic diseases. Vegemil is an alkaline nutritious beverage that is manufactured under the newest automated facility. It is made of selected soybeans which contain about 40% of protein and they are fortified with all kinds of essential nutrients. Vegemil contains no cholesterol which causes chronic diseases such as arteriosclerosis and hypertention. Vegemil A
Containing all nutritional and functional properties of soybean, Vegemil A is a plain soymilk with the original taste and flavor but without adding any other additives. Nutritional aspects of Vegemil A
