Hi,
I am going to Cambodia In February and need to find Malaria tablets. What is the current information on obtaining the genuine article? I need a reliable place somewhere Daegu Downtown would be good.
As for which medicine; thats another issue.

I went to Cambodia in Feb. It is the driest time of the year and didn't find mosquitos to be swarming about. Of course I used the OFF! insecticide often and they didn't bother me.
Have you ever taken malaria meds before? They are quite nasty and one of the side effects is supersentivity to sunlight. Basically you're gonna get burned to a crisp! |

subway:
-Kyungpook National University Hospital Stop (green line)
-Exit #1
-Dr. Park's Travel Immunization right at the exit.
-Can't miss it
I am heading to Southeast Asia in February and was wondering if I should get on the Malaria medicine. The side effects are bad but I don't want to die from Malaria either. Any advice? |

Never took it.
Never needed it.
Did once catch Dengue though.
Best bet is to by it there as it's a lot cheaper than here. |

I have a whole bunch of Malarone (has the least side effects only needs to be taken a couple of days before travel) I don't need anymore, basically i got some bad advice and was advised to buy it for Korea as well as SE Asia, the saving grace is I had only planned to be here a few weeks at the time. Cost me $4 a pill in the UK but would be willing to sell them at a discount.
Malaria wise Thailand u don't need it unless ur going to the boarder areas, Laos, Cambodia and Burma it is advisable to take it.
directions are to take one a day, starting 2 days before travel and 7 days after. I have 36 pills. PM if ur interested. |
